The concept behind an unmanned store is quite simple. You should be able to shop on your own schedule, on your own terms, regardless of age, regardless of how tech-savvy you are. It should be easy to do it right!
When we started 24SJU there was one thing that was very important: you shouldn't be forced to download an app just to buy milk! Instead, our primary goal was to make it as accessible as possible, for as many people as possible. That's why there isn't just one, not just two, but three ways to log into our stores:
This is the most common way to log into our stores. You open your BankID app and choose "Scan QR code". Then you scan the QR code on our screen with your phone.
Here you simply verify your identity with valid ID. This means even non-Swedish citizens can easily log into our stores.
You get these from your local store operator. They are linked to your personal ID number and make it easy even for older people who aren't fond of BankID to get into our stores.
Scan all your items at checkout, or in our mobile app, and pay easily by card or Swish.
If you have an item without a barcode, check whether it's a weighed item that needs to be weighed, or whether the item is listed under "items without barcode" on the screen.
